Annandale State School works with community groups to maximise the use of our school facilities for local sporting and community programs. In some instances, facilities are able to be booked by private businesses.
In all requests for hire facility the following are considered:
- Impact to the school's operations and delivery of school programs and OSHC programs
- Community benefit
- Availability of the facility
- Equitable access to community groups
Where community groups are seeking the use of school facilities, individual agreements will be developed and considerations of the community group's functions will be taken into account for costings of facility hire.
Our Standard Facility Hire Fees are as follows;
- Single room hire - $35/hour
- Shed Hire (no lights) with no equipment - $35/hour
- Shed Hire (with lights) with no equipment - $45/hour
Additional costs may be charged where school staff are required to be in attendance outside of operational hours.
All hire requests must be completed using the Hire Agreement and be approved by the principal prior to access. All hire entities must hold suitable public liability insurance and met relevant Working with Children Requirements.
