Annandale State School has a very active sporting program. It has a comprehensive program which covers both school and inter-school competitions.
School sports
All students are allocated to one of the four sporting houses: All students are allocated to one of the four sporting houses:
Freeman (gold)
Perkins (green)
Bradman (red)
Fraser (blue)
Sporting houses compete in athletics, cross country and swimming.
These allocations remain the same throughout your child’s time at the school. Children in the same family are allocated to the same sporting house.
Inter-school sports
Annandale students from in year 5 and 6 my also nominate to participate in the inter-school sporting competitions. Participation involves a commitment to the school's Code of Conduct and well as payment per sport.
Season 1 Sports (7 weeks): Rugby League, Hockey, Netball
Season 2 Sports (7 weeks): Tennis, Rugby Union, Football (Soccer), Touch football
Season 3 Sports (7 weeks): AFL, Cricket, Teeball, Basketball
