Annandale State School follows the Australian Curriculum.
It has a School Curriculum Framework which guides teaching and learning.
Students in each year level study the following subjects:
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- Health and Physical Education
- The Arts (Visual Art, Music, Media, Drama, Dance)
- Humanities and Social Sciences
- Technologies (Digital and Design)
Students in Years 3–6 also undertake LOTE (Language Other Than English) – Mandarin Chinese.
